PSYCHEDELIC NOTES

By Gnome

The first time I experienced a proper full-blown mushroom trip was when some friends and I went away to Amsterdam for the weekend. It was probably the most amazing thing I have ever encountered and I am shore I will never forget it. It was amazing, beautiful, shocking and intense, very intense. I really didn’t know what to expect and then when I was in the midst of it, I really couldn’t work anything out.
I didn’t know where I was. I didn’t know who I was, or what I was. I couldn’t make sense of anything. Even time was completely scrambled (going backwards in time, hours feeling like minutes, minutes feeling like hours, etc).

At points I felt like my mind was in places no one had ever discovered…strange dark purple caves…different galaxies. I could not believe how fucking powerful these mushrooms were. And when I closed my eyes JESUS CHRIST ALMIGHTY (I’m not gonna describe the closed-eye imagery here). All this crazy shit going on around you and suddenly, after 6 hours of complete and utter madness, you suddenly come down, and feel human again. Never have I tripped as hard as that first night in Amsterdam.

It wasn’t until the following weeks, after that trip to Amsterdam that I actually started to remember some of the things that happened in my mind when we binged on those crazy fungi.
Amsterdam also left me feeling amazed at what the mind is actually capable of. Things like complex 3-D geometrical patterns made up of detailed faces all staring at you when you close your eyes. It just leaves you speechless. Looking back on the crazy shit is fun, but it shocks you and leaves you in shock.

Psychedelic trips…You never know how the trip will unfold. Its always different. With me their seems to be themes as far as I can tell.

The trips in Amsterdam presented me with a lot of gnome like thoughts and images. At one point I felt like a gnome, and yes, all my friends were gnomes as well, and we were all sitting on mushrooms in a big, etc. Yet when I last went on a mystical journey, their were no Gnomes, but lizards, plenty of lizards. Dancing around my field of vision, cropping up on the TV and generally sneaking in at any opportunity. Each trip is totally different from the next and each one is amazing in its own way.

My advice is to trust the mushroom. Feel relaxed, but feel strong. The mushroom will trust you and you will soon find yourself having a beautiful experience.
