A lot of people have been to Amsterdam, and once been, they tend to go back. The reason: its such a Crazy place. Going for any amount of time is not long enough in a place like that because theirs so much to do, and so little time to do it. If you are planning a trip to Amsterdam make sure you are taking the following things: a healthy sum of spending money, some good friends, a map, a note pad, some good music, a camera and a strong mind. Oh yeah, and some clothes may come in handy.
As everyone probably knows, Amsterdam has lots of nice Marijuana being sold. It’s legal and can be bought in Coffee shops. Different Coffee shops will sell different kinds of Skunk and Hash with different deals (5gm of white widow = 50 Guilders) going on.
Coffee shops also sell hash cakes, pre-rolled joints and drinks and stuff (although I didn’t usually hang around in them too much). One thing that is frowned upon however is smoking cannabis in the streets of Dam. It is also not permitted and if caught…. Well, I don’t know, don’t get caught and you won’t find out.
The other legal drug in Amsterdam is the mystical mushroom. There are two main mushroom galleries and lots of other shops In Amsterdam where mushrooms can be bought. Magic mushrooms are a completely different experience. Only should one try these drugs if they are mentally stable. Being depressed or very anxious before taking the mushrooms could result in a bad trip. I would only recommend mushrooms to anyone that can handle being very high on cannabis, or have taken drugs that are stronger than cannabis. These are not drugs that you take in order to feel good at a party. They are drugs you take in order to explore the mind, and its capabilities.
